UW-Stout Athletic Hall of Fame
The most valuable player in 1951 on a team loaded with football talent. A native of Durand, he earned all-state honors there before coming to Stout. He was selected to the state conference team in 1952 both offense and defense. He captained the 1952 squad. A much decorated infantryman during the Korean conflict, he went on to become an industrial arts teacher in Minnesota.
