UW-Stout Athletic and Recreation Complex - outdoors
The UW-Stout Recreation/Athletic Complex includes the Sports and Fitness Center, Nelson Field, Don and Nona Williams Stadium, Alumni Field, the South Tennis Courts, Nelson Field (an outdoor track, soccer, baseball) and an outdoor adventure course.

UW-Stout Sports and Fitness Center exterior photo
The Sports and Fitness Center is the main hub for UW-Stout Athletics. Inside the sprawling building on the southern end of campus is Johnson Fieldhouse, the athletic department offices, the physical education office and classrooms, the Recreation/Athletic Complex offices, Intramurals, University Recreation, the Multipurpose room. the athletic training center, the Athletic Hall of Fame, the Health and Fitness Center, two weight rooms, and an indoor adventure course.

Johnson Fieldhouse is home to men's and women's basketball, gymnastics and volleyball. The facility is also used for several university recreation activities. Johnson Fieldhouse was completed in 1964 and has undergone numerous updates over the years. The Fieldhouse officially seats 1800. The floor was repainted in the summer of 2010.

The UW-Stout gymnastics team competes in Johnson Fieldhouse. The Blue Devils hosted the national gymnastics championships in Johnson Fieldhouse in 2001, the WIAC/NCGA West Regionals in 2011 and played host to the 2017 NCGA Championship and to the 2018 WIAC/NCGA West Region Championship. Gymnastics meets generally draw between 500 and 900 fans.

The UW-Stout women's volleyball team, as well as the UW-Stout men's volleyball club, competes and practices in Johnson Fieldhouse.
Don and Nona Williams Stadium in the fall
Completed in 2001, Don and Nona Williams Stadium has a seating capacity of 4500. The original Astroturf-type artificial surface was replaced in 2008 by a ProGrass surface. That surface was replaced in 2018.
The UW-Stout soccer field in the Nelson Field Complex was renovated in 2020.
Originally constructed in 1935 as the school's football field, the Nelson Field facility has been renovated and updated several times and is now the home field of the Blue Devil women's soccer team. The facility got a facelift and play will begin on the newly renovated artificial surface in the fall of 2020.
Track Meet in the Multi-Purpose Room
The Multi-Purpose Room contains a 200-meter NCAA compliant indoor track and is located in the lower level of the Sports & Fitness Center. The facility has space for six indoor tennis courts, four basketball courts, and a wealth of other activities. The facility is used as an indoor practice facility for many sports when inclement weather occurs. The Multi-Purpose Room was the site of the USA Olympic volleyball team's match victory over Brazil. In addition, the facility is used extensively for summer camps, AAU basketball tournaments and annual high school volleyball tournaments and indoor track meets. Additional photos appear below.
UW-Stout Baseball Field - Burton E. Nelson Athletic Complex
Constructed in the mid-1970s to bring baseball games on campus, the Nelson Field baseball facility is located on the south end of the Recreation/Athletic Complex. The baseball area was updated for the 2014 season, with new dugouts, a new scoreboard and a pressbox facility.
UW-Stout Alumni Field - Softball home field
Constructed in the mid-2000s to bring softball games on campus, the Alumni Field softball facility is located on the south end of the Recreation/Athletic Complex.
UW-Stout Tennis Courts and Outdoor Adventure Course
The Blue Devils play their home varsity tennis matches on the South Tennis Courts located next to the outdoor adventure course.
The Fanetti Community Center ice rink, the home of the UW-Stout Blue Devils
The Fanetti Community Center (formerly the Dunn County Ice Arena) is UW-Stout's only off-site venue. The Blue Devils traditionally pack out the arena with a boisterous fan base. Games generally draw more than 1000 fans. The venue is located in the Dunn County Recreation Park located on the east side of Menomonie off 17th Street.

Whitetail Golf Course south of Colfax is UW-Stout's home cross country course
Whitetail Golf Course, located about 20 minutes northeast of Menomonie, is the home course of the UW-Stout men's and women's cross country teams. The course is also the home of the UW-Stout women's golf team.

The UW-Stout Athletic Training Center, located in the first floor of the Sports and Fitness Center
The Athletic Training Center is located in Room 32 of the Sports & Fitness Center and serves the needs of more than 300 Blue Devil athletes. The facility is also known as the athletic treatment center or simply, the training room.
UW-Stout Weight Room
The 3800 square foot Weight Room facility, located on the second floor of the Sports & Fitness Center, went through a $50,000 renovation in 2008 and has everything from a plyometric training area, dumbbell area, cardio machine to half-rack stations.
Fitness Center
The Health and Fitness Center gym is located in the lower level of the Sports & Fitness Center. With a membership, you get to use the latest cardio machines, free weights, weight machines, participate in special events and join our fun group fitness classes.
UW-Stout Gymnastics Summer Camp
The UW-Stout gymnastics team uses the Multi-Purpose room for their summer camps. The annual high school volleyball tournament, the Sprawl, is held in both the Multi-purpose room and Johnson Fieldhouse. The Multi-purpose room hosted an international women's volleyball match in 1997 between the US Olympic team and Brazil.

The Multi-Purpose Room is the host room to Career Services Career Fair twice a year. With hundreds of vendors, the UW-Stout Career Fair is one of the biggest in the Midwest.
