A 1941 graduate, he earned four letters in basketball and football and played baseball for four seasons although no awards were given at that time. Named all-conference fullback three times. Captained football squad 1939. Taught and coached briefly before serving with U.S. Navy. A retired director of regional training for the postal service, he now lives in Wellesley Hills, Mass.
