Liz Rohl (Prescott, Wis.) is the recipient of the 2025 WHG Humanitarian Award, an award sponsored by the Waznik Heike Group,that calls attention to and recognizes the student-athletes who put sports into proper perspective, who encompass teamwork, campus and community in their everyday lives and put others ahead of themselves.

Rohl, a standout in both golf and softball, maintains an impressive 3.975 GPA while pursuing her studies. As a leader on and off the field, she serves as the Softball Team Captain, President of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, and a representative for both softball and golf. Her dedication to fostering team spirit and promoting athletics is evident through her role on the UW-Stout Athletics Game Day Promotional Team.
Beyond her athletic and academic commitments, Rohl's passion for community service shines through her extensive volunteer work. She coaches and trains youth in softball and golf, serves as an assistant coach for Prescott High School softball, and volunteers at the Menomonie Boys and Girls Club, St. Joseph Church, and St. Joseph Parish School. Additionally, Rohl is an active member of the Early Childhood Association, demonstrating her commitment to education and youth development.
Rohl's contributions have not gone unnoticed. She has earned the Golf All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team Award in 2023, the Softball All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team Award in 2023 and 2024, and four NCGA Academic All-American honors (two for golf and two for softball). She has also been recognized with three four-star academic honors and has made the Dean's List for all five semesters at UW-Stout.

"WHG is proud to recognize student-athletes who put sports and life into proper perspective, include campus and community into their everyday lives and put others ahead of themselves," Brad Waznik, a financial advisor from WHG said. "We acknowledge student-athletes with character, who care and believe in helping others and who work hard at making our world a better place."
"By placing a spotlight on these individuals," Waznik continued, "we are not only acknowledging their accomplishments, but we strive to magnify their ability to inspire everyone in this room, our youth and the community as a whole."
Recipients receive an individual plaque and a donation will be made to the UW-Stout athletic department in the recipient's name. The WMG Blue Devil Humanitarian Award will become an annual award, with each winner's name placed on a plaque to be displayed in the UW-Stout Sports & Fitness Center. The deadline for submissions will be December 15, annually.
