FRISCO, Texas – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced its 2025-26 All-American Scholar Team, with eight UW-Stout Polytechnic women's golfers earning the prestigious academic honor.
Recognized for the Blue Devils were Kaitlyn Bohl, Sarah Chaffee, Julia Imai, Ashleigh Johnson, Avery Meyer, Brin Neumann, Hallie Tulip, and Peyton Zipperer.
Bohl, a sophomore from Bloomer, Wis., is majoring in elementary education. She competed in 17 rounds, posting an 84.53 stroke average, and tied for 11th at the WIAC Championship to help the Blue Devils capture the conference title. This is her second WGCA All-American Scholar honor.
Chaffee, a freshman from Chippewa Falls, Wis., is majoring in communications. She played in 22 rounds with an 80.45 stroke average, recorded five top-10 finishes, shot 76 or better in three rounds, and placed ninth at the WIAC Championship as Stout won the conference title.
Imai, a sophomore from Brookline, Mass., is majoring in food science and technology. She earned WGCA All-Region honors after being named the WIAC Champion, WIAC Player of the Year, and a First Team All-WIAC selection. Imai shot 72 or better in five rounds, finished in the top 10 in every event, and placed first or second in eight tournaments. This is her second WGCA All-American Scholar recognition.
Johnson, a junior from Reedsburg, Wis., is majoring in business administration. A First Team All-WIAC selection, she competed in 22 rounds, posting a 78.18 stroke average while recording seven top-10 finishes.
Meyer, a sophomore from Rochester, Minn., is majoring in golf enterprise management. She played in 14 rounds and finished the season with an 86.93 stroke average. This is her second WGCA All-American Scholar honor.
Neumann, a junior from Warrens, Wis., is majoring in applied journalism. She finished second at the WIAC Championship to earn First Team All-WIAC honors after posting a 77.59 stroke average over 22 rounds. Neumann recorded seven top-10 finishes and earned her third career WGCA All-American Scholar honor.
Tulip, a senior from Arcadia, Wis., is majoring in business. She competed in 22 rounds with an 81.95 stroke average and placed fifth at the WIAC Championship to earn Second Team All-WIAC honors. Tulip is a four-time WGCA All-American Scholar.
Zipperer, a sophomore from Balsam Lake, Wis., is majoring in health, wellness and fitness. She played in 11 rounds during the season and posted a 91.50 stroke average.
A total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers were recognized as WGCA All-American Scholars this year.
The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are among the most stringent in collegiate athletics, recognizing excellence in both academics and athletics. To earn the honor, a student-athlete must:
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
- Be an amateur and remain on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season.
- Compete in at least 50% of the institution's regularly scheduled competitive rounds through the conference championship.
