LA CROSSE - The University of Wisconsin-Stout men's and women's track and field teams showcased strong performances at the WIAC Outdoor Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Ava Mack,
Raegan Sorensen, and
Lincoln Wellsmith highlighted the meet with individual titles to lead the women's team to a third-place finish.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
The Blue Devils finished third with 64 points, highlighted by
Raegan Sorensen's first-place finishes in both the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.97 meters and the javelin with a throw of 40.04 meters.
Ava Mack won the discus with a throw of 47.78 meters (156' 9"), and
Lincoln Wellsmith won the shot put with a throw of 13.49 meters (44' 3.25").
On the track,
Claudia Lasiowski took 5th in the 5000 meters with a time of 17:28.86.
Kaylie Raths placed 6th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.55 and 8th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.89 seconds.

Kaylie Raths,
Megan Liebers, and
Ava Budworth placed fourth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:56.32.
Karlynn Gustafson,
Lilly Gamache,
Esme Irel, and
Makayla Durango placed fifth in the 4x100m relay with a time of 48.77. In the women's 100 meters,
Lilly Gamache finished 13th, clocking in at 12.28, and
Makayla Durango was 18th in 12.45.
Addie Christopherson placed 19th in the 800 meters at 2:25.57, and
Alexys Smith was 21st with a time of 2:26.38.
Leah Zastrow was second in the pole vault with a vault of 3.92m to earn second-team All-WIAC honors.

Isabelle Jaenicke was 11th in the triple jump with a mark of 11.98 meters.Â
MEN'S RESULTS
The Blue Devils men's team finished seventh overall.
Karter Rashke's impressive throw of 17.22 meters in the shot put secured him a second-place finish and second-team All-WIAC honors.
Matthew Binstock earned second-team All-WIAC honors with a triple jump of 14.65m. He also placed third in the high jump, clearing 2.02 meters (6' 7.5").
Thomas Casey placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.08 seconds to earn honorable mention All-WIAC recognition.
Jesse Fowler finished third in the hammer throw with a throw of 57.17 meters to earn honorable mention All-WIAC honors. Patrick Dortch was 4th in the triple jump with 14.23 meters.
On the track,,
Julian Van Antwerp finished 11th In the 10,000 meters with a time of 30:52.45.
Lucas Anderson was 13th in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:00.35.
Walter Strait led the men's 800 meters for UW-Stout, finishing 17th with a time of 1:54.56. In the men's 200 meters,
Braedon Pederson placed 14th with a time of 21.91, followed by
Conner Blade in 16th at 22.07.Â
Nolan Zachgo was 8th in the 110 meters hurdles with a time of 14.86.
John Baker was 10th in the discus with a throw of 45.75 meters.
The 4x400 meters relay team of

Nolyn Lindner placed 6th with a time of 3:16.55.
Nolyn Lindner,
James John,
Jonny Grams, and
Braedon Pederson ran the 4x100 meter relay in 41.81 to place 5th.

Looking ahead, Stout will compete in the UW-La Crosse Uncaged Eagle Open on Friday, May 8, at 3 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
