FARMINGTON, Mo. – The University of Wisconsin-Stout women's golf team turned in a strong showing at the 2026 WashU Spring Invite, finishing third overall in a competitive field at Crown Pointe Golf Club.
The Blue Devils posted a two-day total of 46-over par (308-314—622) to secure the third-place finish, trailing only host Washington University-St. Louis (+12) and Illinois Wesleyan (+31).
UW-Stout was paced by a standout performance from
Julia Imai, who finished tied for second overall with a 3-over par total. Imai fired rounds of 73 and 74 to shoot a 147.
Ashleigh Johnson also delivered a strong finish for the Blue Devils, placing fifth overall at 4-over par with a 70-78-148.
Brin Neumann added depth to the lineup with a tie for 33rd at 19-over 163 (82-81), while
Sarah Chaffee finished tied for 36th at 20-over (83-81-164) .
Hallie Tulip rounded out the Stout scorers, tying for 39th at 86-79-165.
The Blue Devils are off this week and return to action at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling April 11-12 in Normal, Ill.
