MENOMONIE– The University of Wisconsin-Stout women's golf team tied for first with a 316 (+32) at the UW-Stout Spring Invite at Tanglewood Greens Golf Course. The one-day, 18-hole event saw eight schools compete with 11 total teams and 63 individuals. The Blue Devils "B" team placed seventh with a 347 (+63)
Abby Terada led the Blue Devils, carding a 78 (+7) to secure fourth place overall, just four strokes behind the individual champion, Ellie Johnson of UW-Whitewater (74). Tied for fifth with 79 (+8) were Brin Neumann and Maddie Kiley, both delivering clutch performances to bolster the team's standing. Hallie Tulip rounded out Stout's top performers, finishing eighth with an 80 (+9), Sydney Grimm shot a 12 over 83.
The Blue Devils' B team also competed admirably, with Avery Meyer (84, T-18th), Andrea Smith (85, T-22nd), and Peyton Zipperer (86, T-26th) leading the way. Additional contributors included Kaitlyn Bohl (92, T-45th) and Cassie Santelman (94, T-51st).
