NORMAL, Ill. – The UW-Stout women's golf team finished ninth at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, held April 12-13, 2025, at Ironwood Golf Course. The Blue Devils posted a two-round team score of 649 (+73), with rounds of 320 and 329.
Julia Imai led Stout, tying for eighth individually with a total of 155 (+11), carding a 74 (+2) in the first round and an 81 (+9) in the second.
Brin Neumann tied for 28th with a 161 (+17), scoring 78 (+6) and 83 (+11).
Sydney Grimm tied for 34th with a 163 (+19), improving to a 79 (+7) in the second round after an 84 (+12).
Abby Terada tied for 59
th with a 170 (+26), posting 84 (+12) and 86 (+14), while
Hallie Tulip tied for 96th with a 179 (+35), scoring 92 (+20) and 87 (+15).
St. Catherine's team won the event with a 607 (+31), led by Kyra Venne, who took medalist honors at 147 (+3). Illinois Wesleyan placed second with a 617 and Aurora was third at 635.
The Blue Devils will be off next week before competing at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invite in Janesville, Wis. on April 25-26.
