MENOMONIE - The University of Wisconsin-Stout men's and women's track and field team will send six athletes to compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, scheduled for March 14-15, 2025, at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, N.Y.
Women's Team Qualifiers:
- Hannah Zastrow: Secured her spot in the 60-meter hurdles with a winning time of 8.64 seconds at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier on March 8. The two-time defending WIAC champion holds the sixth fastest time in the nation. She also qualified in the High jump with a mark of 1.68 meters (5' 6").
- Aubree Koenings: Earned qualification in the weight throw, achieving a second-place throw of 18.29 meters (60' 0.25") at the WIAC Championships. Â
- Brekkyn Lammert: qualified in the mile, after setting the school record on Feb. 21 at the Caged Eagle Invite with a 4:56.73.
- Leah Zastrow: Qualified in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.85 meters (12-7.5), securing second place at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier. She placed fourth in the event at the WIAC Championships.
Men's Team Qualifiers:
- Sam Knox: Advanced to the championships in the pole vault after clearing 4.92 meters (16-1.75) and finishing third at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier. She placed sixth at the WIAC Championships
- Lawson Davis: qualified after clearing 2.05 meters (6' 8.75") at the WIAC Championships to place second.
- Karter Rashke: has the fourth best throw in the nation in the shot put with a 17.52 meter (57' 5.75") toss at the Stout Quad on Feb. 14. He placed second at the WIAC Championships.
