Women's Golf Places Third at Wartburg Invite

WAVERLY, Iowa –  The Blue Devil women's golf team placed third at the Wartburg Invitational over the weekend with a 42 over 618.

After shooting a 315 on day one, Stout improved by 12 shots with a 303 to take third with a total score of 618, 10 strokes clear of fourth place.

Sydney Grimm was the top Blue Devil finisher, shooting back-to-back 76's  to place 10th overall with a 152. Two shots back were Julia Imai (80-74), and Brin Neumann (76-78) who tied for 12th with a 154. Finishing 25th was Abby Terada who rebounded from a day-one 83 with a 75 on day two to finish with a 158. Hallie Tulip tied for 29th with a 81-83-164 and Kaitlyn Bohl tied for 55th with an 89-81-170.
 
UP NEXT
The Blue Devils will travel to Onalaska, Wis. to compete at the UW-Crosse Fall Invitational Sept. 14-15 at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek.
