MADISON, Wis. – University of Wisconsin-Stout's
Julia Imai was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
Ashleigh Johnson,
Brin Neumann and
Hallie Tulip were named to the WIAC All-Conference team.
Imai, a sophomore from Brookline, Mass., was also named first-team All-WIAC and owned a 73.8 stroke average this fall and is currently ranked 54
th in the nation. She claimed medalist honors at the WIAC championship. She also won the Wartburg College (Iowa) Fall Invitational and tied for first at the Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) D3 Classic. Imai was second at the UW-River Falls Falcon Invitational and tied for second at the Golfweek October Classic.
Brin Neumann, a junior from Warrens, Wis., was named first-team All-WIAC. She finished second at the WIAC championship and is ranked 21
st in the region with a 77.0 stroke average. She has finished in the top-10 four times this fall.
Ashleigh Johnson earned first-team All-WIAC honors. She tied for fifth at the WIAC Championship and is ranked 27
th in the region with a78.3 stroke average.
Hallie Tulip, a senior from Arcadia, Wis., received second-team All-WIAC honors. She tied for fifth at the WIAC Championships and has a season stroke average of 80.9
The All-Conference Team was determined by using a combination of the WIAC Championship results (50 percent) and the SCOREBOARD Powered by Clippd Regional Rankings (50 percent) distributed on Oct. 22. A player must have completed a minimum of eight rounds in order to be considered for selection to the All-Conference Team and Player of the Year.
