DESTIN, Fla. — The UW-Stout women's golf team turned in a strong showing against one of the deepest fields of the season, earning a fifth-place finish at the highly competitive Golfweek October Classic held at the Sandestin Resort. The Blue Devils posted a three-round total of
921 (310-305-306) to finish ahead of multiple nationally ranked teams.
Sophomore
Julia Imai led the Blue Devils with an outstanding performance, carding rounds of 72–73–72-217 (+1) to tie for second overall in the 120-player field
Ashleigh Johnson posted scores of 77-76-77-230 to tie for 27th, followed by
Brin Neumann with 79–77-81-237 to tie for 49
th.
Sarah Chaffee tied for 62
nd with a 83-79-83-245 and
Hallie Tulip was 85
th with a 82-93-76-251 to round out the team scoring.
#8 Williams (872) captured the team title, followed by #7 Randolph-Macon (893), #18 Hamilton (897), and #24 Grinnell (898).
Stout wrapped up the fall portion of the 2025-26 schedule and will take the winter off, before returning to action in April of 2026.
