First Day Results of Falcon Invitational
PRESCOTT (September 3, 2022) - All five of UW-Stout's golfers were in the top 12 as the Blue Devils held a nine stroke lead after the first day of the UW-River Falls Falcons Invitational at Clifton Highlands Golf Course Saturday.
Senior
Kendra Swanson (Beaver Dam) is in first place with a five stroke lead, hitting a 76 on the par 72 course.
Abbey Filipiak (Jr, Elk River, Minn) is in third with an 82,
Sydney Grimm (So, Waunakee) and
Hallie Tulip (Fr, Arcadia) are in sixth with an 86 and
Liz Rohl (Fr, Prescott) is in 12th with an 88.
As a team, Stout tallied a 330. UW-La Crosse is in second with a 339.
Stout's B team was in sixth place of nine teams with 375 strokes.
Em Humphrey (Fr, Waunakee) is in a tie for 13th with an 89; Maddie Kiley (So, Appleton) is tied for 20th with a 92;
Grace Warrner (Sr, Lakewood) is tied for 24th with a 94 and
Andrea Smith (Fr, East Troy) is 35th with a 100.
The meet is expected to conclude Sunday, Sept. 4 with tee times beginning at noon.
