St. Catherine's Fall Invitational
WOODBURY, Minn. (September 25, 2022) - The UW-Stout women's golf team wrapped regular competition play this weekend by participating in the two-day St. Catherine Fall Invitational Sunday at Eagle Valley Golf Course. As a team, Stout played eighth, while
Abbey Filipiak finished fifth.
The Blue Devil junior stayed in the mid-70s both days, hitting a 75 on the opening day at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater, Minn., and a 76 on the second day at Eagle Valley to finish with a seven-over 151.
Sydney Grimm,
Liz Rohl and
Hallie Tulip all tied for 41st, with Grimm and Rohl hitting identical scores of 84-84 on both days to finish at 168. Tulip had a first day score of 79 and a second day score of 89.
Madeline Kiley (98-90 - 188) finished 73rd.
Playing individually,
Grace Warrner (92-88 - 180) tied for 66th.
Em Humphrey (88-98 - 186) was 71st and
Andrea Smith (102-100 - 202).Â
The Blue Devils will be off next weekend as they prepare for the WIAC Women's Golf Championship Oct. 7-9 at the Reedsburg Country Club.
