2022 WIAC/Kwik Trip Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week
MENOMONIE (April 26, 2022) - UW-Stout's
Hannah Zastrow was selected as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC)/Kwik Trip Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this month after breaking her own school hurdles record.
Zastrow won the 100-meter hurdles at the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge with a time of 14.05 seconds, breaking her own school record. That time ranks first in the conference and first in NCAA Division III.
Zastrow broke the mark of 14.09 she had set two weeks earlier. The sophomore from Spencer came into the season with the school record of 14.23, a mark she set at the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship last May.
This is the third time this school year Zastrow earned the conference honor. She earned the award two weeks ago for the outdoor season and earned it once during the indoor season.
