Blue Devils run away with title at UW-Platteville Invitational

UW-Platteville Invitational

PLATTEVILLE (April 24, 2022) - The UW-Stout women's golf team ran away with the team title at the UW-Platteville Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the Platteville Invitational. Stout won the five-team tournament by 154 strokes and had all five competitors finish in the top 13 golfers.
 
Abbey Filipiak won the two-day event (78-84 – 162). Sydney Grimm tied for second (83-83 – 166), Kendra Swanson was fourth (83-87-170), Grace Warrner was seventh (90-95-185) and Madeline Kiley tied for 13th (95-99-194)
 
UW-Stout (334-349 – 683), UW-Platteville (363-366 – 729), UW-River Falls (38-391 – 773), Luther (386-396 – 782), UW-Superior (422-419 – 841).

Stout will conclude the 2021-22 season when they host the UW-Stout Invitational, Saturday, April 30 at Pheasant Hills Golf Course in Hammond.
