- The Blue Devils shot out from the tip for a nice first-quarter lead, but UW-River Falls used big second and third quarter runs to chip away at the Stout's lead. The Falcons continued the pressure into the fourth, which saw them coming away with the 67-64 win Jan. 26 in Johnson Fieldhouse. The Blue Devils put on a show in the first quarter, making a majority of their shots and connecting on three big three-pointers. This shooting pushed the Blue Devils on a 12-0 run to end the first quarter. River Falls was unable to find the basket only scoring seven points in the first quarter.  The Falcon's shots started to fall in the second quarter, where leading scorer, Macy Nilsen, made four three pointers. This put the Falcons only down by two points (32-30) at half. The third quarter was up and down for both teams, as it started to look like it was going to be a very close game. River Falls took a four-point lead (48-44) heading into the fourth quarter. Stout was able to close the lead, but River Falls connected on some key free throws down the stretch to take away Stout's hopes of their third game in the row with a game-winning shot in the final seconds. Macy Nilsen finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons. Jenna Zeman also chipped in 14 points of her own. Stout saw four players with double digits, Anna Mutch (15), Lauren Arenz (13), Sam Schaeffer (12), and Amanda Giesen (10). - Prior to becoming the Blue Devils' head coach, Iverson was the director of player development for women's basketball at NCAA Division I UW-Green Bay, a position she began in October, 2016. As well as working directly with the team, Iverson managed the program's operating budget, coordinated team travel, co-directed summer camps and clinics and handled all aspects of team film. She assisted in the set-up of on-campus recruiting and coordinating official and unofficial visits for potential recruits. Iverson held a similar position - director of basketball operations - at the University of Illinois from 2014-16.
- Iverson spent two years at NAIA member Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, as an assistant women's basketball coach for the 2012-14 school years. - A member of the UW-Green Bay women's basketball team from 2008-12, playing as Hannah Quilling, Iverson finished her career in the top 10 for games played as the Phoenix posted a 122-13 record over her four years. Under Fischer's guidance UW-Oshkosh was one of eight Division III women's programs to win at least one game at each of the four NCAA postseasons between 2014-17 as the Titans reached the third round in both 2014 and 2017 and advanced to the second round in 2015 and 2016.
