REEDSBURG (October 7, 2022) - After a blustery, fall day, UW-Stout found themselves in sixth place after the first day of the 2022 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Golf Championship at Reedsburg Country Club.
Abbey Filipiak is leading Stout after an opening round 82 on the par-72 course. Filpiak, the defending conference champion, is only five strokes off the pace. UW-Whitewater's Ashton Sinak and UW-La Crosse's Molly Larsen lead the pack with a five-over 77.

Kendra Swanson is in a tie for 30th with an 89. Freshman
Liz Rohl is tied for 34th with a 90.
Sydney Grimm is tied for 41st with a 92 and
Hallie Tulip is in 73rd following a 105.
Playing as a individual, Madeline Kelly is tied for 41st with Grimm with a 92. Senior
Grace Warrner is fied for 44th with a 93.
Em Humphrey is tied for 60th with a 98 and
Andrea Smith is one stroke back in tie for 64th with a 99.
Stout finished the day with 353 strokes. UW-La Crosse is leading after the first day with 324 strokes and defending champion UW-Whitewater is second at 329.Â
The second round of play is scheduled to get underway Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. The third and final day is Sunday, Oct. 9.Â
