Six UW-Stout teams will be in action this week, with Volleyball, Soccer and Hockey having home contests.
PARKING INFO: Parking on the UW-Stout campus is restricted during the business week. For games in Johnson Fieldhouse and Nelson Field during the week, please plan to park in Lot 29. Do not park in Lot 4, which is a reserved lot for students that live in the residence halls.
SOCCER
Stout is currently 1-11-3 (0-3-1) and will play two matches this week. One each on the road and at home. Julie McNamar and Lily Shield have split time in the net. Shield and has a .754 save percentage and recorded her first collegiate shutout in a 0-0 draw against Luther. McNamar has the lone win for Stout and 1.76 goals against average and .782 save percentage. On the offensive side of the ball, Caylee Boone (four goals) lead the team in scoring. Marissa Steele has two goals and two assists. Liv Winkler, Kennedy Beld and Ella Kemp are the other Blue Devils who have found the back of the net. Rachel Younker and Carly Kauffman each have an assist. Stout has attempted 146 shots with 70 on goal. Freshman defender Hannah Hagman has seen the most time on the field with 1224 minutes. Hailey Kane is right behind her with 1221 minutes. |

VOLLEYBALL
The Blue Devils are 11-12, 1-4 on the season. Stout is averaging 11.1 kills and 2.1 aces a set. The Blue Devils as a team are hitting .174 as a team. Sidney Hoverman is currently second in the WIAC in kills, averaging 3.84 kills a set, while Caroline Braun is averaging 2.13. Kennedy Barrett is averaging 8.4 assists a set and 35 aces. Terrah Moshier and Staci Meyer are both averaging over 3.2 digs a set. Freshman Maja Anderson has stopped up on the serve with 29 service aces and averaging 0.40, good for eighth in the WIAC. |

HOCKEY
The Blue Devils open the 2022-23 season with a couple of exhibition games. On Friday they host Saint Mary's(Minn.) before traveling to St. Paul, Minn. to face Bethel University.
Mike MacDonald's squad returns 21 letter winners from last year's team. including all conference selections Dylan Rallis and Tyler Masternak, with a mix of seven incoming freshman. The Blue Devils were picked to finish fifth in the preseason coaches poll.

FOOTBALL
The Blue Devils is coming off a a huge 55-0 win over WIAC opponent UW-Stevens Point. Stout held the Pointers to only 131 yards while recording 594 of their own. Stevens Point (1-5, 0-3 WIAC) was unable to get past the Blue Devil's defense and was unable to stop the Blue Devil's offense. Stout improves to 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in the WIAC. Stout didn't allow a single score from the Pointers offense, recording their first shut out since the opening game of the 2017 season where Stout won 17-0 against Simpson College. The big win propels Stout to their next road game against nationally-ranked UW-Oshkosh. #24 Titans (3-3, 1-2 WIAC) will look to bounce back after their loss to #3 Whitewater last week. Oshkosh leads the all time series 42-22-1 since 1947 and has bested the Blue Devils in the past 11 games.
