THIS WEEK'S GAMES: The Blue Devils (2-6, 2-6 WIAC) will return to UW-Whitewater (6-2, 6-2 WIAC) Monday, March 1, to play the Warhawks in the first round of the WIAC tournament. The Warhawks are the second seed in the East Division and the Blue Devils are the third seed in the West Division.
2020-21 SEASON: The COVID-19 pandemic forced all sports to rethink their schedule and WIAC basketball will have eight regular season games, which will only be against conference opponents, plus a conference tournament. The conference has been divided into two divisions, and East and West. The teams in each division will meet twice during the shortened regular season, all in the same week with games on Wednesdays and Fridays. Stout is in the West Division along with UW-Eau Claire, UW-River Falls and UW-La Crosse. There will two games against a crossover opponent, and Stout will play UW-Whitewater twice. The conference tournament is scheduled to be held the first week of March, with the first round Monday, March 1, the second round Wednesday, March 3 and the championship game Friday, March 5. All tournament games will be played at the high seed. No fans will be allowed during the 2020-21 season.
BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK: Not only is it rare in UW-Stout's history to have played back-to-back games, it has never happened to play three consecutive game against the same opponent. Before this season, the only time Stout women have played a team in two consecutive meetings during a single season was during the 1983-84 season when the Blue Devils played UW-Superior twice in a row. It was much more common on the men's side to play back-to-back. Since 1909 and not counting this COVID year, the Blue Devils have on 16 different occasions played a single team in consecutive outings, the latest coming during the 2006-07 season when Stout played UW-La Crosse in the final game of the regular season, then opened the conference tournament by traveling to La Crosse.

- Prior to becoming the Blue Devils' head coach, Iverson was the director of player development for women's basketball at NCAA Division I UW-Green Bay, a position she began in October, 2016. As well as working directly with the team, Iverson managed the program's operating budget, coordinated team travel, co-directed summer camps and clinics and handled all aspects of team film. She assisted in the set-up of on-campus recruiting and coordinating official and unofficial visits for potential recruits. Iverson held a similar position - director of basketball operations - at the University of Illinois from 2014-16.
- Iverson spent two years at NAIA member Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, as an assistant women's basketball coach for the 2012-14 school years. Iverson was in charge of guard development in a season where she helped the Saints to the 2014 Association of Independent Institutions tournament championship, earning Ashford a berth in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Championship tournament, the first conference title and appearance in the NAIA D-II tournament in Saints history.
- A member of the UW-Green Bay women's basketball team from 2008-12, playing as Hannah Quilling, Iverson finished her career in the top 10 for games played as the Phoenix posted a 122-13 record over her four years. The team was 68-4 in Horizon League play and advanced to the NCAA Division I tournament four times, including one trip to the Sweet 16. She led the Horizon League in assist-to-turnover ratio in 2011-12, was sixth in steals per game and ninth in assists per game. She was also named to the Horizon League Honor Roll, earned the UW-Green Bay Chancellor's Leadership Medallion, was a two-time recipient of the UW-Green Bay University Leadership Award and the Patricia Hinckley Scholarship, and won the JoAnne Jennings Award in 2012.

On the men's side, Ray Johnson needed 59 games to reach 30 wins. Dewey Mintz needed 67 games to reach 30, John Muraski needed 63 and Eddie Andrist needed 59 games.
