Gymnasts put up top score of the season

DeLara, Hargens take firsts in dual with Whitewater

UW-Whitewater 185.775, UW-Stout 173.875

WHITEWATER (February 6, 2010) - UW-Stout put up the most points of the season, but still lost to second ranked UW-Whitewater, 185.775-173.875, Saturday.

Naomi DeLara (Jr, Kahului, Hawaii) took a pair of first place finishes, tying for the top spot on the vault (9.375) and taking honors on the floor exercise all by herself (9.55).

Meghan Hargens (Sr, Rosemount, Minn) won the all-around event (37.600), finishing third on the floor (9.40), balance beam (9.375), uneven bars (9.475) and the vault (9.35).

Stout will host the John Zuerlein Invitational, Friday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.
