More about Genna Boeckmann

Why did you choose UW-Stout?: I liked the campus, wanted to do gymnastics and it was close to home

Something you may not know about me: I am on the Stout waterski team and hold the school record for longest women's jump (67 feet)...I race BMX...I have a fear of drive thrus and car washes.

Started gymnastics at age: 6

What is your nickname?: G

As a child, I pretended to be:  a monkey

My favorite sporting event, other than UW-Stout gymnastics: Ski tournaments

My favorite food: lasagna

If I were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would I take with me? Stout and Madison waterski teams, along with a fully stocked boat to make a skiing paradise

My favorite gymnasts are: Nadia, Nastia, Shawn Johnson, Maddy Larson, Gabby Douglas, John Macready and John Roethlisberger

My most funny, memorable Stout gymnastics story: dragging coach Justin into Victoria's Secret when team was on a shopping trip in Chicago.

Community Service/Volunteer Activities: Teach BMX to beginners, track volunteer, Habitat for Humanity, teach learn to ski clinics.

This offseason, I worked on: blind fulls, piked jaegers, and waterskiing

I look up to: Meghan Hargens, Jon Bice, Cale Yerigan, Seth Kaiser, Joel and Colleen Stark-Haws, Dave Hoeller
