OSHKOSH - The UW‑Stout Blue Devils turned in one of their strongest performances of the season Friday night at the Kolf Sports Center, posting a season-high team total of 189.525 in a dual meet against the top ranked UW‑Oshkosh Titans.
Stout had an historic showing on vault, scoring a 48.175 — the second-highest vault total in program history.
Kendra Henige and
Kadyn Swank each delivered season-best performances to pace the lineup, scoring 9.700 and 9.675, respectively, while
Jessica Qualich added a 9.725 to anchor a deep and consistent rotation.
After uneven bars, the Blue Devils totaled their highest floor exercise score of the season (48.075).
Anna Mielke highlighted the rotation with a season-high 9.675, tying for sixth overall, as Stout placed five gymnasts at 9.550 or better on the event.
Reesi Williams followed closely with a 9.650, while Henige added a 9.625 to cap off a strong all-around night.
On balance beam, Stout matched its season form with a 47.800 team score.
Julia Rhoades led the way with a career-best 9.725 to finish second overall, while
Cora Cardellino recorded a 9.675 and
Jamie Beatty added a 9.625.
The performance marked Stout's highest team score of the season and continued a late-season trend of steady improvement as the Blue Devils head toward postseason competition next weekend at the WIAC Championship/NCGA West Regional on March 7 in Winona, Minn. on March 7
