MENOMONIE, Wis. (February 21, 2010) -
Meghan Hargens (Sr, Rosemount, Minn.) won two events and the all-around, while
Naomi DeLara (Jr, Kahului, Hawaii) took two firsts of her own, but Stout fell to Eau Claire, 176.050-175.475, Sunday afternoon at Johnson Fieldhouse.
Hargens won the uneven bars with a score of 9.475 and took the floor with a 9.450. She also took second place on the balance beam (9.275) and third on the vault (9.350). Hargens also won the all-around with an accumulative score of 37.550.
DeLara took first on the other two events, winning the vault with a 9.375, and the balance beam with a score of 9.600. She closely trailed Hargens in the floor, finishing second (9.350).
Genna Boeckmann (Fr, St. Cloud, Minn.) finished in third place on the bars as she set a personal high 8.600.
Kim Gulik (Fr, Elk Grove Village, Ill) finished fourth on the vault (9.05) and was seventh on the floor as she scored an 8.800, her new personal record.
The Blue Devils will wrap up the dual portion of their schedule when they compete at NCAA Division II Texas Woman's University, Saturday, Feb. 27 in Denton, Texas.
