MENOMONIE, Wis. (January 29, 2010) -
Meghan Hargens (Sr, Rosemount, Minn.) and
Naomi DeLara (Jr, Kahului, Hawaii) each won two events, Friday night, as UW-Stout defeated Gustavus Adolphus, 173.725-169.750, at Johnson Fieldhouse.
Hargens took first place in the vault (9.350) and the bars (9.500). She also won the all around with a score of 37.550. DeLara won the balance beam with a score of 9.500, while she took first on the floor with a 9.675.
DeLara was runner-up to Hargens in the vault, while Hargens took second place in the beam and the floor.
Freshman
Kim Gulik (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) took sixth place on the vault by recording her personal best of 9.000. Other Blue Devils recording personal records were
Heather Harmeyer (So, Milwaukee) on the bars (8.550) and
Vanessa Zahratka (Fr, Lakeville, Minn.) on the floor (8.825).
Stout will travel to UW-Whitewater next Saturday, Feb. 6. The meet is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
