ST. PAUL, Minn (January 18, 2010) - UW-Stout took their first dual win of the season as
Meghan Hargens (Sr, Rosemount, Minn) and
Naomi DeLara (Jr, Kahului, Hawaii) each grabbed two first place finishes Monday.
Hargens won the uneven parallel bars (9.475) and the all-around (36.725). DeLara captured first on the balance beam (9.475) and the floor exercise (9.60). Hargens was second behind DeLara on both events, scoring a 9.15 on the beam and 9.25 on the floor.
Kim Gulik (Fr, Elk Grove Village, Ill) tied with Hargens to led all Stout performers on the vault (8.85), finishing fourth. Gulik also had a fourth place finish on the bars (7.925).
Kayla Choromanski (So, Osseo, Minn) was fourth on the beam (8.725).
Stout returns to action Friday, Jan. 22 when they are at UW-Oshkosh. Stout's first home meet is Friday, Jan. 29 when they host Gustavus Adolphus at 6 p.m.
