This Week in Blue Devils Athletics: March 30- April 5

BASEBALL

The Blue Devils dropped three of four games at (RV) UW-Platteville over the weekend. Gavyn Schacher went 7-13 with five RBI, two doubles, and a home run. Austin Miller was 8-16 with three doubles. Mike Pustelnik went 4-16 with three home runs and eight RBI.

Stout will host North Central (Minn.) in a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 31st at 12 p.m. Then, Stout will welcome UW-Eau Claire for a four-game series on Friday and Saturday, April 3rd and 4th. All games are scheduled to be played at Wakanda Park.

LACROSSE

The Blue Devils lacrosse team defeated North Central (Ill.) 16-7 and lost 21-5 to UW-La Crosse.

Mai Nou Vang contributed three goals, two assists, and seven draw controls across the two games. Megan Palmer scored four goals and had six draw controls.

Stout will travel to Stevens Point, Wis., on Wednesday, April 1, to face the Pointers at 7 p.m. The Blue Devils will return home on Saturday, April 4, to host Colorado College at Nelson Field at 11 a.m.

MEN'S GOLF

The Blue Devil men's golf team will open the spring season at the IWU Invitational in Normal, Illinois, on Friday and Saturday, April 3-4.

WOMEN'S GOLF

The Blue Devil women's golf team will wrap up the WashU Spring Invite today in Farmington, Mo.

TRACK & FIELD

The Blue Devils' men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will open the outdoor season on Friday, April 3, at the UW-La Crosse Ashton May Invitational at the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.
