Mai Nou Vang was named WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Lacrosse Attacker of the Week for the week of March 8-15.
Mai Nou Vang, a senior midfielder from Green Bay, Wis., scored 18 goals and added three assists for 21 points in UW-Stout's three games during the week. She had 32 shots on goal (86.5%) and totaled 27 draw controls, three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Against UW-Eau Claire, she scored four goals on five shots and added an assist, while added 13 draw controls. At Concordia University (Wis.), Vang scored seven goals, including the game winner and added eight draw controls. Then to wrap up the week at Trine University (Ind.), she scored seven goals on nine shots and dished out 2 assists, while adding six more draw controls.
