MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The UW-Stout women's lacrosse team capped its 2026 season in emphatic fashion Wednesday afternoon, rolling to a 20-1 victory over Augsburg University at Edor Nelson Field.

The Blue Devils finish the year with a 6-9 overall record and 1-7 mark in WIAC play, ending on their most decisive win of the season.

UW-Stout controlled the game from the opening draw, building a 6-1 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. The Blue Devils held Augsburg scoreless over the final three quarters while continuing to pile on offensively, including six-goal second and third periods.

Senior Mai Nou Vang capped off her decorated career by leading the offensive surge with five goals and an assist, pacing a balanced attack that saw 14 different Blue Devils find the back of the net. Lauren Busho and Riley Schulte each added two goals, while Erin Nolan, Maddy Nuttall, Ava Loveland, Kailyn Morin, Luci Fitzgerald, Megan Palmer, Rachel Schwabe, Brinley Tonn, Savannah Wetterhahn, Madeline Candline, and Briana Brenteson all contributed goals in the finale.

Megan Palmer and Lauren Busho each dished out two assists as UW-Stout totaled 11 assists on 20 goals.

The Blue Devils dominated statistically across the board, outshooting Augsburg 49-5 and holding a commanding advantage in ground balls (38-12) and draw controls (18-5). Defensively, UW-Stout limited Augsburg to just two shots on goal and did not allow a goal after the opening quarter.

Wednesday's result provides a strong closing note for the Blue Devils, showcasing the program's depth and offensive firepower as they head into the offseason.
