This Week in Blue Devils Athletics: Dec. 29 - Jan. 4

MEN'S BASKETBALL

After a nine day holiday break the 4-6 Blue Devil Men's Basketball team will return to action today with their final non-conference game of the year. 

Stout will travel to Oshkosh, Wis. to face Lawrence University at 6 p.m. at the Oshkosh Arena. There will be no live stream of today's game due to broadcast rights with the Wisconsin Heard. 

Stout will then open WIAC play at home on January 3, when they Welcome UW-Platteville to the Johnson Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 3:05 p.m.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The 7-2 Blue Devil women's basketball team will close out 2025 with their final non-conference games of the season in Dubuque, Iowa. Stout will face host University of Dubuque tonight at 7 p.m. and Loras College tomorrow, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m.

The Blue Devils will then open WIAC play on the road in Platteville, Wis. on Saturday, Jan. 3 against the (RV) Pioneers. Tip-off from Bo Ryan Court in Williams Fieldhouse is set for 3:05 p.m.

MEN'S ICE HOCKEY

The Blue Devil hockey team enters the new year with a 7-2-1 record and sitting a point outside of first place in the WIAC standings. 

Stout will travel to De Pere, Wis. to face No. 3 St. Norbert College on Friday, Jan. 2. Puck Drop from the Cornerstone Community Center is set for 6 p.m.

The Blue Devils will then travel to River Falls, on  Saturday, Jan. 3 to face the (RV) Falcons in Hunt Arena. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. as Stout looks to complete the season sweep.

WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS

The Blue Devil Gymnastics Team will open the 2026 season at the UW-Oshkosh Quadrangular on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. in Oshkosh, Wis. at the Kolf Sports Center. Stout will face off against WIAC foes Greenville University, Winona State and host UW-Oshkosh. 

The Blue Devils return national qualifiers Sarah Lutz, Taylar Schaefer and WIAC Newcomer of the Year and two-time national champion Jamie Beatty as well as welcoming 10 newcomers.
