NEW ORLEANS - The UW-Stout women's and men's cross country teams and seven student-athletes have earned 2024 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Awards, the organization announced recently.
The Blue Devil women's team was selected as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for the 21
st consecutive season and the men for the 15th straight year. The Blue Devil women have a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.462, while the men have a team GPA of 3.343. Both the Blue Devil men women were one of eight WIAC teams to earn the honor.
Three members of the Blue Devils men's team earned individual all-academic honors, while four members of the women's team were selected as all-academic.

Matthew Thomas, Applied Mathematics & Computer Science.
Mckayla Felton, Business Administration,
Arely Jaime Luevano, Human Development & Family Studies,
Brekkyn Lammert, Animation & Digital Media, and
Claudia Lasiowski, Studio Art from the women's team received USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
In total, there were 748 athletes (404 women, 344 men) who earned All-Academic mention from the USTFCCCA in NCAA Division III. In order to be named USTFCCA All-Academic, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and finish in the top-25 percent at their respective regional.
A total of 221 institutions earned the women's scholar award while 199 institutions secured the men's award. To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.10 or higher on a 4.00 scale.
