COLFAX, Wis. – The Blue Devils raced at the Blugold Invite at the Whitetail Golf Course Friday evening.
The Blue Devils women tied for third with 96 points, but settled for fourth on the tie breaking sixth runner. Arely Jamie Luevano led Stout with a 22:36 in the 6k race to finish fifth overall.
Brekkyn Lammert was sixth, five seconds behind at 22:41.
Claudia Lasiowski was 17
th with a 23:14,
Olivia Donohue finished 26
th with a time of 23:28.
Arlie Kapaun was 82
nd at 24:54 and
Jessi Salimes crossed the line in 25:06 to place 89
th.
Matthew Thomas led the Blue Devil men to a third-place finish in the men's 8k with 61 points, Stout was just four points behind second place.Thomas placed eighth overall with a time of 25:02.
Eli Marszalek, 25:19 and
Calvin Fiala, 25:21, finished 14
th and 15
th.
Andrew Carlson (25:27) and
Casey Deboth (25:28) rounded out the scoring five just a second apart to finish 19
th and 20
th.

The Blue Devils will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 19 when the race at the Augustana Interregional Invite in Rock Island, Ill. The Women run at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and the men run at 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
