PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Blue Devil women's track and field team placed fourth and the men's team finished fifth at the 2024 WIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships presented by Culver's.
Hannah Zastrow and
Arely Jaime Luevano won individual titles.
Hannah Zastrow broke her own school record and ran the fastest time in the nation with a with 13.65 in the women's 100-meter hurdles to win by over half a second.
Arely Jaime Luevano became the 2024 WIAC champion in the women's 10,000-meters, running and impressive 36:22.09 to win by over 11 seconds.
The Blue Devil women's team finished fourth with 80.75 points. The men's team finished fifth with 65 points.
WOMEN'S ALL-CONFERENCE
100-meter hurdles: Lilly Roberts placed third with a time of 14:58 seconds.
3000-meter steeplechase: Mckayla Felton took second with a time of 10:51.39.
5,000-meters: Olivia Donohue took second with a time of 17:51.64.

Makayla Durango placed second with a time of 47.81 seconds.
High Jump: Hannah Zastrow placed third with a mark of 1.64 meters (5' 4.5").
Long Jump: Jenna Driscoll placed third with a mark of 5.70 meters (18' 8.5").
MEN'S ALL-CONFERENCE
110-meter hurdles: Kaden Martin placed second with a time of 14:46 seconds.
Thomas Casey took third with a time of 14.49 seconds.
400-meters hurdles: Brandon Dick was third with a time of 55.11 seconds.
Long Jump: Jack Roeber took second with a mark of 7.40 meters (24' 3.5").
Javelin: Nate Karau took second with a throw of 53.52 meters (175' 7").
WOMEN'S PODIUM FINISHES
100-meters: Makayla Durango finished fifth with a time of 12.13 seconds.
400-meter hurdles: Lilly Roberts was eighth with a time of 1:06.19 seconds.
1500-meters: Brekkyn Lammert placed eighth with a time of 4:42.77.
3000-meter steeplechase: Brekkyn Lammert placed fourth with a time of 11:09.64 seconds.
Discus Throw: Brooke Baumann placed seventh with a throw of 40.43 meters (143' 8").
Aubree Koenings was eighth with a mark of 40.11 meters (131' 7").
Pole Vault: Leah Zastrow was seventh with a vault of 3.47 meters (11'.4.5").
Javelin: Sloan Horgan was seventh with a throw of 34.44 meters (113' 0").
Heptathlon: Rebecca Hanson was eighth with 4222 points.
MEN'S PODIUM FINISHES
5000-meters: Max Fore finished fifth with a time of 14:56.19 seconds.
Eli Marszalek was seventh with a 14:56.37.
10,000-meters: Max Fore was seventh with a time of 30:47.40
