WHITEWATER, Wis. – UW-Stout track and field teams competed at the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The women's team finished fourth and the men placed fifth. The Blue Devils had four individual champions.
The women's team finished fourth with 73 points and the men's finished fifth with 48.5 points.
Individually,
Hannah Zastrow won the women's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.57 seconds. Mckalya Felton won the women's 3000-meters with a personal best time of 9:54.07 seconds.
Leah Zastrow won the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.92 meters (12'10.25").
Jenna Driscoll won the women's long jump with a personal best jump of 5.70 meters (18'8.50")
ALL-CONFERENCE
60-meter hurdles: Lily Roberts was third with a time on 9.09 seconds.
3000-meters: Matthew Thomas placed third in the men's race with a time of 8:23.81.
High Jump: Hannah Zastrow placed second with a season best mark of 1.68 meters (5'06").
Weight Throw: Connor Walechka placed third with a throw of 19.15 meters (62'10").
PODIUM FINISHERS
60-meter dash: Jenna Driscoll placed eighth in the women's race with a time of 7.91 seconds.
60-meter Hurdles: In the men's race,
Thomas Casey placed seventh with a time of 8.35 seconds and
Kaden Martin was eighth with a time of 11.26 seconds. In the women's race,
Leah Zastrow finished seventh with a time of 9.29 seconds and
Kaylie Raths was eighth with a time of 9.37 seconds.
Mile: Brekkyn Lammert finished eighth with a time of 5:08.01 seconds.
3000-meters: Claudia Lasiowski placed eighth in the women's race with a time of 10:24.06 seconds.
5000-meters: Matthew Thomas placed fifth in the men's race with a time of 14:34.57.
Max Fore was eighth with a time of 14:45.77 seconds. In the women's race, Mckalya Felton placed third with a time of 17:23.42 and Arely Jamie Luevano finished eighth with a time of 18:02.11.
High Jump: Noah Flood Elyafi placed seventh with a mark of 1.94 meters (6'04.25") and
Matthew Binstock was eighth with a mark of 1.94 meters. Both jumps were personal bests.
Pole Vault: Sam Knox placed fourth with a jump of 4.72 meters (15'5.75").
Shot Put: Karter Rashkie placed fourth with a personal best throw of 16.52 meters (54'2.50")
Triple Jump: Noah Flood Elyafi placed seventh with a mark of 13.92 meters (45'8")
Weight Throw: Nate Karau placed sixth with a personal best throw of 17.76 meters (58'3.25")
Heptathlon:
Brandon Dick placed fifth with 4753 points. He placed second in the shot put and 1000-meters.
Pentathlon: Lexi Cole placed seventh with a score of 3150 points and Becca Hansen scored 2906 to finish eighth.
DMR: The men's DMR of
Alex Suelflow,
Kory Wiegert,
Silas Green and
Nick Stitzer placed fourth with a time of 10"14.89.

The Blue Devils will compete next week in a pair of last chance qualifiers before the NCAA National Championship. On Friday, March 1
st Stout will travel to Waverly, Iowa to compete at the Wartburg Qualifier. On Saturday, March 2 they will run at the UW-La Crosse Qualifier in La Crosse, Wis.
