MENOMONIE (Feb. 14, 2026) – The UW-Stout men's and women's track and field teams hosted the annual Stout Quad at the Sports & Fitness Center, the Blue Devils turned in a strong showing against regional opponents UW-Eau Claire, St. Olaf, and Bethel University.
Women's Sprints & Distance
Makayla Durango was fifth overall (26.59) in the 200 meters. She was followed by
Ava Budworth (10th, 27.14) and
Megan Liebers (11th, 27.25), with additional contributions from
Miranda Gantner (14th, 27.56),
Karlynn Gustafson (15th, 27.66), and
Becca Hansen (16th, 27.89).
Corrina Tvedt delivered a podium result in the 400m dash, taking third in a swift 59.15 to break the meet record. Senior
Lilly Roberts rounded out Stout's efforts in 11th (1:03.29).
Freshman
Alexys Smith anchored the distance group in the 800m run, crossing in 10th at 2:31.67.
Women's Jumps & Throws
Isabelle Jaenicke claimed victory in the triple jump with a leap of 10.80m (35-05.25). Junior
Mack Champion was third (10.36m | 34-00.00).
In the pole vault, the Blue Devils went 1-4, as senior
Leah Zastrow cleared 3.97m (13-00.25) for the win and a meet record, with junior
Raegan Sorensen placing second at the same height. Champion doubled up with third (3.52m | 11-06.50), followed by freshman
Zoe Myers (tied fourth, J3.52m), sophomore Madi Wolff (tied sixth, J3.37m), sophomore
Lina Gustafson (tied sixth, J3.37m),
Miranda Gantner (eighth, 3.22m), and junior
Sloan Horgan (tied 10th, J3.07m).
The high jump featured a tie for fifth by freshman
Marissa Flannery and Hansen (both J1.53m | 5-00.25), with
Anja Hellekant,
Kaylynn Sandry, and
Shae Bunke all cleared 1.38m.
Sophomore Jaenicke continued her hot streak in the long jump with sixth place (5.00m | 16-05.00), tailed by junior
Lilly Gamache (tied eighth, 4.96m | 16-03.25) and
Shae Bunke (14th, 4.10m | 13-05.50).
Lincoln Wellsmith earned bronze in the shot put (12.69m | 41-07.75), with sophomore
Grace Schmidt seventh (12.19m) and freshman
Catherine Fank ninth (11.51m | 37-09.25). In the weight throw, Wellsmith placed fifth (15.22m | 49-11.25), followed by freshman
Ava Mack (sixth, 14.72m | 48-03.50) and Schmidt (eighth, 14.53m | 47-08.00).

Nick Schulte led the 800m charge in seventh (2:01.31), followed by freshman
Lucas Anderson (ninth, 2:02.44) and
Walter Strait (13th, 2:03.69).

Yahye Mohamed highlighted the mile in eighth (4:27.50), with Strait 14th (4:29.72) and Anderson 17th (4:30.81).
The 4x400m relay was a Stout showcase, with the 'A' squad (Lindner, K. Jaenicke, Driscoll, senior
Silas Green) winning in 3:23.99. The 'B' team (Zachgo, Blade, Feldmann, junior
Logan Scott) took third (3:26.44), while the 'C' relay (Sutton, senior Zackery Ihde,
Cody Powell, sophomore
Ethan Kroeger) placed fifth (3:34.87) and the 'D' squad (Semerjian, Oberdas, Schulte,
Lucas Jablonski) sixth (3:36.70).
Men's Jumps & Throws
Senior
Noah Flood Elyafi ruled the high jump with a tie for second (1.95m | 6-04.75),
Matthew Binstock was fourth, (1.95m). Junior
Ethan Rupakus took sixth (1.85m | 6-00.75).
Flood Elyafi doubled up in the long jump for first (6.61m | 21-08.25), with Pederson silver (6.55m | 21-06.00) and
Kolvin Mayer fifth (J6.36m | 20-10.50).
The triple jump was all Stout on the podium: freshman
Patrik Dortch set a meet record with gold (13.85m M | 45-05.25), Binstock silver (13.73m | 45-00.50), and Mayer bronze (13.38m | 43-10.75).
Junior
Braden Krystosek placed second in the pole vault (4.93m | 16-02.00), followed by
Sam Knox (tied fourth, 4.78m | 15-08.25) and
Josh Boyette (tied eighth, 4.33m | 14-02.50).
Senior
Karter Rashke hurled to second in the shot put (17.58m | 57-08.25), with sophomore
John Baker fifth (15.80m | 51-10.00) and senior
Joey Lanoux seventh (15.15m | 49-08.50).
In the weight throw, senior
Jesse Fowler placed fourth (17.44m | 57-02.75), tailed by junior
Maverick Metzger (sixth, 17.06m | 55-11.75) and Baker (eighth, 16.50m | 54-01.75).
Karter Rashke was second in the shot put with a throw of 17.58m, 57-8.25.
