LA CROSSE - The UW-Stout men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Ashton May Invite hosted by UW-La Crosse with
Nate Karau and
Kaden Martin picking up wins.
Kaden Martin won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.66 seconds, earlier he had set a personal best with a 14.58 in preliminary heat.
Nate Karau won the men's javelin with a throw of 49.72 meters (163'1")
Jenna Driscoll set a personal best in the women's 100 meters with a time of 12.61 seconds.
Sydney Reisner.finished seventh in the women's 400 meters with a time of 1:00.93.
Owen Jelinek finished eighth in the men's race with time of 50.22 and
Keegan Pulchinski ran a personal best to finish ninth with a time of 50.67 seconds.
Grant Magnuson took second in the men's 800 meters with a time of 1:53.49.
Silas Green placed sixth with a time of 1:56.95.
Josh Wehrman ran a personal best 1:56.96 to place seventh.
Three Blue Devils set personal best times in the 5000 meters.
Calvin Fiala took fourth in the mens race with a time of 15:25.75 and
Tyler Rislov was just behind to finish fifth with a time of 15:26.14. Nicole Harrison placed seventh in the women's race with a time of 19:43.59.
Behind Martin in the hurdles was
Carter Wente who took fifth with a time of 15.26.
Kaylie Raths placed seventh in the womens 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.60 seconds.
Martin took seventh in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 58.62. Lily Roberts placed fifth in the womens race with a time of 1:08.58 with Raths just behind in sixth with a time of 1:08.76.
The Stout women's 4x100 meter relay team of Driscoll,
LaRissa Block, Caitlin Harriosn and Raths took third with a time of 50.44 seconds.
The men;s 4x400 meter relay team of
Brandon Dick,
Lance Pfrimmer, Magnuson and
Kory Wiegert placed third with a time of 3:26.70.
In the women's high jump,
Tegan Roder took sixth with a personal best height of 1.54 meters (5' 0.5").
Matthew Binstock took eighth in the men's high jump with a height of 1.83 meters (6' 0').
Jacob Tomazevic placed fourth in the pole vault with a height of 4.55 meters (14' 11").
Abi Weishoff placed sixth in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.31 meters (10' 10.25") and
Raegan Sorensen placed seventh with a height of 3.31 meters (10' 10.25").
Jack Roeber placed fifth in the men's triple jump with a jump of 13.67 meters (44' 10.25"). Binstock placed sixth with a personal best jump of 13.22 meters (43' 4.5").
Karter Rashke took fifth in the men's shot put with a throw of 14.24 meters (46' 8.75").
Connor Walechka placed sixth in the men's hammer thorw with a throw of 47.21 meters (154' 11"). Anthong Kuehl took seventh (46.52 meters) and Karau placed eighthv (45.52 meters.
Behind Karau in the men's Javelin was
Mason Barth, who placed third with a throw of 47.98 meters (157' 5"). Sorensen placed second in the women's javelin with a throw of 26.25 meters (118' 11").
The Blue Devils will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Platteville, Wis. to compete in the UW-Platteville Invite.
