MENOMONIE, WIS. - The Blue Devils hosted the Stout Quad meet Friday evening. The men's team came away with four event wins and the women's team took eight top-three finishes.
The Stout men dominated the 5000 meters.
Matthew Ryan won the invite race with a time of 14:51.27.
Max Fore placed fourth with a time of 15:13.04. In the 5000 meter Open race Matthew Thomas won with a time of 15:12.47,
Eli Marszalek (15:22.60) took third,
Eric Neuwirth (15:28.82), placed fourth and
Andrew Carlson (15:36.46) took fifth. In the women's 5000 meters,
Mckayla Felton took second with a time of 18:12.08 and
Libby Meyer ran a personal best 18:38.48 to finish eighth overall.
The Blue Devil men won the 4x400 meter relay.
Keegan Pulchinski, Grant Mafnuson,
Owen Jelinek and
Carter Wente combined for a time of 3:28.43.
The Stout men crushed the long and triple jumps.
Jack Roeber swept the jumps, winning the long jump with a mark of 6.54 meters (21 feet 5.5 inches) and the triple jump with a jump of 13.56 meters (44 feet six inches).
Also in the long jump,
Adam Szepieniec placed fifth (6.19 meters) Joseph Garder (6.13 meters) took sixth and
Hayden Zachgo took seventh with a jump of 6.09 meters. In the Triple Jump
Noah Flood Elyafi took second with a mark of 13.23 meters.
Matthew Binstock took fourth (12.68 meters),
Jonathan Loera and Frank Ochtrup-Dekeyrel tied for fifth with a jump of 12.21 meters.
In the women's long jump
LaRissa Block took second with a jump fo 5.03 meters (16 feet six inches), Kehau Philips took fifth (4.62 meters)
Lexi Cole took sixth (4.45 meters) and
Ally Amundson placed seventh with a jump of 4.24 meters).Philips also placed fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 10.40 meters (24 feet 1.5 inches).
Blue Devils took second in the pole vault. In the women's
Abi Weishoff took second vaulted to a height of 3.56 meters (11 feet, eight inches) and in the men's,
Jacob Tomazevic finished second with a mark of 4.43 meters( 14 feet, 6.25 inches).
In the 800 meters,
Grant Magnuson took second with a time of 1:56.95 and
Owen Jelinek took third with a time of 1:57.83 seconds. Syndey Reisner took third in the women's race with a time of 2:17.78.
Brekkyn Lammert took third int he women's mile with a time of 5:09.58, while,
Lance Pfrimmer took second in the men's race with a time of 4:16.66.
In the men's 60 meter hurdles,
Kaden Martin took third with a time of 8.34 seconds. Behind him were teammates
Mason Barth (8.39) in fourth,
Carter Wente (8.41) in fifth,
Dylan Edland (8.60) in sixth, Noah Edland (8.61) in seventh, and
Noah Beck in eighth in 8.69 seconds.
In the women's hurdles,
Kaylie Raths took third with a time of 9.29 seconds and
Caitlin Harrison took fourth with a time of 9.31 seconds.
In the women's 200 meters, Lily Roberts took third with a personal best time of 27.60 seconds.
In the men's 400 meters,
Keegan Pulchinski placed third with a time of 52.34 seconds.
In the throws,
Karter Rashke took third int he shot put with a throw of 14.98 meters (49 feet, 1.75 inches).
Connor Walechka took second in the weight throw with a personal best throw of 18.21 meters (59 feet, nine inches).
Nate Karau had a personal best throw with a mark of 16.85 meters and
Isaac Kraus also had a personal best with a mark of 15.08 meters.
The Blue Devils will be back in action next Saturday, Feb. 18 when they travel to Oshkosh, Wis. to compete at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challange.
