MENOMONIE, WIS. - The UW-Stout men's track and field team hosted the Warren Bowlus Open and won four events.
Spencer Schultz led the Blue Devils in the 3000m, winning with a personal best time of 8:25.22.
Tyler Rislov won the mile in a time of 4:39.04 for a strong showing in the distance events
Jack Roeber won the triple jump with a mark of 13.70 meters and took third in the long jump with a jump of 6.51 meters
Kaden Martin finished third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.42 seconds.
Carter Wente took second with a time of 8.58 seconds.
Mason Barth took second in the heptathlon with a score of 5025 points, just 30 behind the winner,
Silas Green took second in the 800m with a time of 1:56.78 and
Grant Magnuson placed third in 1:57.08.
In the 3000 race won by Schultz,
Nels Trandahl took third with a tile of 8:43.85 and
Lance Pfrimmer took sixth with of 8:48.14.
Nathan Skroch sprinted to a tenth place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 23.32 seconds. He also ran the 60 meter dash in 7.38 seconds
Owen Jelinek took fourth in the 600 meters with a time of 1:23.03
Jacob Tomazevic and
Michael Volz tied for fourth in the pole vault with a height of 4.40 meters.
Karter Rashke took third in the shot put with a throw of 15.22 meters.
In the weight throw,
Connor Walechka took second with a throw of 16.51 meters and
Nate Karau placed third with a throw of 16.41 meters.
The Blue Devils will be in action next weekend when they travel to Minneapolis, Minn. to run the Gopher Classic on Saturday Feb. 4.
