2022 USTFCCCA Indoor Track and Field All-Region
MENOMONIE (March 8, 2022) - Eleven UW-Stout indoor track and field athletes were selected as All-Region honorees for the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Selected from the men's team were:
Jacob Backes, pole vault, Jr, Osakis, Minn;
Mason Barth, heptathlon, Jr, Spencer;
Jacob Bugella, weight throw, Jr, Rice Lake;
Grant Magnuson, 800m, Fr, River Falls;
Kaden Martin, 60-hurdles, Fr, West Bend/Slinger;
Kevin Ruechel, shot put, Sr, Pulaski.
Selected from the women's team are
Mackenzie Huber, shot put and weight throw, Jr, Colby;
Grace Maurer, 400m, Sr, Rogers, Minn;
Hannah Miller, long jump, Sr, Beloit/Turner;
Demi Ploor, weight throw, Sr, Sturgeon Bay/Sevastapol;
Hannah Zastrow, 60-hurdles and high jump, So, Spencer.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
