HOCKEY
The Blue Devils opened the 2022-23 season with a pair of wins on the road last weekend. Defeating Milwaukee School of Engineering 6-2 and Concordia (Wis.) 9-1. Stout is 6-17 on the power paly and has scored 15 goals through two games. Stout has now scored even strength, power play, shorthanded and an empty net goal in both games this season. The nine goals vs Concordia were the most in a game by the Blue Devils since the 2013-14 season and the eight goal margin was the largest since 2009. Peyton Hart recorded a hat trick and Matt Dahlseide scored three goals and had three helpers over the weekend and was named WAIC Men's Hockey Athlete of the Week.Â

FOOTBALL
Stout will look to carry the momentum from their 3OT upset win against No. 22 UW-Platteville into this weekend, when welcome tenth ranked UW-Whitewater (6-2, 4-1 WIAC) to Williams Stadium.
Last weekend Stout won 24-22 in triple overtime on a one handed grab in the back of the endzone byÂ
John Smozynski. After the Stout defense stopped the Pioneers attempt with a Mason Preibe interception.Â
Levy Hamer recorded 144 yards receiving and now holds the record for career receiving yards with 3,431.  Â
Stout will look to keep thier playoff hopes alive, but to do so will have to halt a 19 game Whitewater winning streak in the series

CROSS COUNTRY
Fresh off of an impressive WIACÂ Conference Championship meet that saw the men finish third and the women fourth. The Blue Devils will travel to Luther College for a quick tune up meet before heading into the NCAA DIII North Regional on Nov. 12
