A LOOK AT THE 2021-22 BLUE DEVILS
- Four Blue Devils are averaging double digits for the season. Lovell Williams with 17.8, Armani Tinsley with 13.8, Jon Ciriacks with 12.1 and Luke Geiger with 10.4. Drew Scott, Stout's fifth starter, is tossing in 8.6 points per game. Brody Fox has seen his scoring average skyrocket after scoring 42 points against Greenville. Fox is now averaging 9.7 points per game. Ciriacks is averaging a team-best 6.2 rebounds and Scott is grabbing 4.4 per contest. TYreese Alexander is averaging 4.4 rebounds, but the senior from Pontiac, Mich., has missed the last four games. Stout has now surpassed the amount of games that they played throughout last year in the pandemic season. Scott has far exceeded his point total from last year when he scored 22 points in nine games (2.4 ppg) and this year has 86 total points. As a team, Stout is shooting 48.0 percent (331-690) from the floor, 36.2 percent (98-270) from 3-point range and 70.5 percent (146-207) from the line. As a team, Stout is averaging 90.6 points per game, the most in the WIAC. Stout is allowing 81.9 points. Stout is also leading the WIAC in assists per game with 20.2.
- Williams is fourth in the WIAC in scoring, Tinsley 13th, Ciriacks 15th. Ciriacks is eighth in rebounds. Williams is second in the league in assists (5.5 apg), Tinsley is eighth (2.8) and Geiger 11th (2.2).
- The 2021-22 Blue Devils broke Stout's single game scoring record which was held since 1971 (the 1986 team tied the record). Stout defeated the visiting Greenville Panthers, a team known for their high-scoring games, 125-119. Brody Fox connected on two late game free throws to put this Blue Devil team into the record books.
- Williams has scored in double digits in nine of ten games, has scored more than 20 points three times and scored a career-high 31 points. Tinsley has scored in double digits six times this year, with a season high 30 points. Ciriacks has scored in double digits in seven games with a season high of 20 points twice. Geiger has also scored in double digits sic times this year, with a season-high of 19 points.
- The Blue Devils have opened the season with eight wins in the first ten games, the first time they have done that since the 2016-17 season when they opened at 8-2 over the first ten games and opened at 11-2 before finishing the season at 13-13.
- The 57 points that Lakeland scored Dec. 6 is the fewest points allowed in a single game by Stout this year and the fewest points allowed in a single game since Dec. 14, 2018, when Stout defeated Finlandia, 69-56, in Hancock, Mich. It's also the fewest points allowed in Johnson Fieldhouse since Jan. 17, 2018, when Stout defeated UW-Eau Claire, 65-51. Stout scored 50 points against Lakeland in the first half, the first time Stout has had a 50 point first half since scoring 51 points against Edgewood College in 2019 at the St. Norbert Tournament. The last time Stout scored 50 or more first half points in Johnson Fieldhouse was in 2018 with a 96-94 win against Silver Lake College.
- Williams scored 25 points against Albion University, then beat that the next time out with a 31-point effort, the most individual points scored by a Blue Devil since Luke Geiger scored 31 points Nov. 19, 2019. Jon Ciriacks topped that two weeks later with a 35 point effort. Williams is currently fourth in the WIAC in scoring. But as much as Williams likes to score, he also likes to contribute to his teammates' scoring and is third in the WIAC in assists, averaging 4.4 per game. Williams had a career-best seven assists against Albion.
- Stout is out-rebounding their opponents, 43.4-36.6. Stout is out-scoring their opponents, 90.6-81.9.
CLIMBING THE LADDER
- Both Jon Ciriacks and Luke Geiger are making their way up the UW-Stout all-time scoring list. Ciriacks is currently tied for 30th on the list, tied with Jarvis Ragland with 914 points, while Geiger is 37th with 880 career points. Ciriacks is currently 11th on the 3-point made list with 120 and Geiger is not far behind with 112 treys, ranking 15th. Ciriacks is 25th on the all-time rebounds list with 405.

BLUE DEVILS LAST TIME OUT
- UW-Stout broke the single-game scoring record, held since 1971, surviving the top scoring team of the NCAA Division III, Greenville University, 125-119, on Monday night at Johnson Fieldhouse. The Blue Devils knew coming into the game that Greenville was going to play fast and hard. From the tip, Greenville was putting up the three-ball nearly every time down the court. Stout did their best to match the Panther's high-paced offensive, but fell behind quickly, as Greenville went on a eight-point run early in the first half, which put them up by 11-points. That 11-point Greenville lead was the most by both teams. Stout adjusted after the media timeout, and finished out the first quarter with their own nine-point run. | Game Story and Stats
