Blue Devil Alum Brody Fox Drafted by Wisconsin Herd

MENOMONIE — Former University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic men's basketball standout Brody Fox was selected by the Wisconsin Herd in the 2026 NBA G League Draft on Oct. 24.

Fox, a Mahtomedi, Minn., native, was the 50th overall pick. He concluded his collegiate career at The Citadel following an exceptional three-season tenure at Stout, where he established himself as one of the program's all-time greats.

"Brody earned this opportunity through his work, development and belief in himself. I'm excited to see him chase his dream here in Wisconsin, where so many people have watched and supported his growth," head coach Tom Webb said. "Seeing Brody drafted by the Wisconsin Herd is a proud moment for our program and everyone who has been part of his journey."

During the 2023-24 season, Fox earned D3hoops.com Fourth-Team All-American honors, becoming just the second All-American in Blue Devil history. He was also named to the NABC and D3hoops.com All-Region 9 teams, earned First-Team All-WIAC honors and was included on the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List, recognizing the top players across NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA.

A prolific scorer, Fox led the nation in field goals made (265) and ranked second in total points (719) during the 2023-24 season, averaging 26.6 points per game. He shot 53.1% from the field while averaging 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Fox set the UW-Stout single-season scoring record with 719 points, surpassing Mel Coleman's previous mark of 579 set in 1968-69. He finished his Blue Devil career fifth on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,427 points despite playing three full seasons, missing the 2022-23 season due to a season-ending injury.

Fox scored 20 or more points in 22 games and topped 30 points nine times during his junior season. He also set a school record with a 70-point performance against Greenville on Nov. 18, 2022, shooting 34 of 38 from the field and recording a double-double with 11 rebounds. His career-high 15 rebounds came in a win over Babson, while he dished out a career-best nine assists in a playoff victory at UW-La Crosse.

Fox transferred to The Citadel for the 2024-25 season, where he continued to excel at the NCAA Division I level. He averaged 16.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 49.1% from the field. He started all 30 games and scored 500 points during his senior season.

Following his collegiate career, Fox continued playing professionally overseas in the Estonian-Latvian Basketball League during the 2025-26 season. He played for Keila KK in Estonia and Latvijas Universitate in Latvia, averaging a combined 18.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 15 games. Fox shot 52.9% from the field and 35.3% from three-point range. He averaged 21.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in eight games with Latvijas Universitate, shooting 42.9% from beyond the arc.
