Eight Blue Devils Earn NABC Honors Court Recognition; Men's Basketball Receives Team Academic Excellence Award

KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the recipients of the 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, recognizing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and individual student-athletes. The University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic had eight student-athletes earn NABC Honors Court recognition, while the Blue Devils also received the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award.

Honored for UW-Stout were Dominic Croci (So., Hurley, Wis.), Cade LaFavor (Sr., Burnsville, Minn.), Carson Leuzinger (Sr., Monroe, Wis.), Justin Nelson (Sr., Iron River, Mich.), Nolan Stauffacher (Jr., Columbus, Wis.), Mason Stoik (Jr., Eau Claire, Wis.), AJ Uttech (Jr., Fall River, Wis.) and Collin Vick (Jr., Owatonna, Minn.).

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Dominic Croci appeared in seven games, averaging 2.6 minutes while shooting 44 percent from the field.

Cade LaFavor appeared in three games, averaging two minutes while shooting 75 percent from the field.

Carson Leuzinger played in 21 games, averaging 10 minutes per contest. He scored 30 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, dished out 16 assists and recorded six steals while earning a spot on the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Justin Nelson appeared in eight games, averaging 13 minutes while shooting 57 percent from the field. He finished with 60 points and 26 rebounds.

Nolan Stauffacher played in all 26 games, averaging 15 minutes while shooting 69 percent from the field. He totaled 82 points and 68 rebounds.

Mason Stoik appeared in all 26 games, averaging 21 minutes per game. He scored 130 points, added 49 rebounds, 24 assists, 16 steals and two blocks, and was named CSC Academic All-District.

AJ Uttech played in 23 games, averaging 21 minutes per contest. He recorded 261 points, 81 rebounds, 29 assists and 26 steals while earning All-WIAC Honorable Mention honors.

Collin Vick started all 26 games, averaging 31 minutes while shooting 45.5 percent from the field. He totaled 178 points, 209 rebounds and 108 assists while adding 51 steals. Vick earned All-WIAC Honorable Mention, was named to the All-WIAC Defensive Team and received CSC Academic All-District honors.

More than 2,300 student-athletes earned NABC Honors Court recognition, while more than 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards during the 2025-26 academic year.
