  • Four Blue Devils are averaging double digits for the season. Lovell Williams with 17.4, Armani Tinsley with 14.0, Jon Ciriacks with 12.6 and Luke Geiger with 12.0.  Drew Scott, Stout's fifth starter, is tossing in 8.3 points per game. UW-Stout and UW-Platteville are the only teams in the WIAC with four players averaging double digits. Ciriacks is averaging a team-best 6.0 rebounds and Geiger is grabbing 4.1 boards.  After six games, Drew Scott has exceeded his point total from last year when he scored 22 points in nine games (2.4 ppg) and this year has 58 total points. The senior is averaging 3.7 rebounds. As a team, Stout is shooting 46.7 percent (186-398) from the floor, 34.5 percent (58-168) from 3-point range and 67.9 percent (89-131) from the line. As a team, Stout is averaging 85.0 points, the most in the WIAC. Stout is allowing 80.4 points. Stout is also leading the WIAC in assists per game with 18.4.

Williams had a career-best seven assists against Albion. .
  • When Stout scored 107 points against Northland College, Nov. 10, it was the first time the Blue Devils cracked 100 points since Nov. 24, 2019, when they downed Finlandia University, 111-73. Miller was the head women's golf coach for six seasons, beginning with the 1994-95 season. He directed the golf team to two WIAC championships (1996-97 and 1999-00) and garnered WIAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year accolades during the team's two championship seasons.
  • Miller is a 1989 graduate of UW-Whitewater and played three seasons under head coach Dave Vander Meulen. In the 1988-89 season, he was a co-captain of the team that won a national championship (the second in school history and second under Vander Meulen - the first was 1983-84). Miller enjoyed his finest season, averaging 16.6 points per game and knocking down 107-of-223 (.480) from 3-point range, the second-most attempts and third-most makes in school history. That year, he was also tabbed the WIAC Men's Basketball Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
  • Miller ranks third in school history in three-point field goals made, and in three-point field goal percentage, as well as fourth in three-point field goals attempted. Miller was 178-of-371 from three-point range in his career, a .480 percentage.

LAKELAND UNIVERSITY COACH SAM SCHROEDER
  • Sam Schroeder returns in 2021-22 for his fifth year as head coach of the Lakeland men's basketball team.
  • Schroeder took over as coach in 2017 after six years as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator with the program. He has 48 wins in his first four years as head coach while leading Lakeland teams that have ranked among the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and NCAA leaders in a number of statistical categories.
  • The Muskies finished 7-8 in the 2020-21 season, which was disrupted and shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lakeland finished in a tie for fourth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference North Division and qualified for the NACC North playoffs, its third time in four years qualifying for the conference tournament. The Muskies also led the conference in three-pointers made for the third time in four years.
  • Prior to being named head coach, Schroeder served the Muskies as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for six seasons, during which Lakeland compiled a 98-61 record, posted five straight winning seasons, won a NACC regular season title in 2013 and played in two conference tournament title games. As an assistant, Schroeder helped develop two All-Americans, two all-region selections, 15 all-conference picks, a conference player of the year, the school's all-time leading scorer and four all-freshman team honorees.
