WIAC Men's Cross Country Championship results
COLFAX (October 30, 2021) - UW-Stout had two runners earn all conference honors at the 2021 WIAC Cross Country Championship Saturday at Whitetail Golf Course as the Blue Devils finished fifth as a team.
Matthew Ryan placed 15th to pace the Blue Devils, earning honorable mention all-conference honors in a time of 25-minutes, 34.5-seconds in the 8-kilometer run.
Ian Williams also earned honorable mention honors with an 18th place finish in a time of 25:43.4.
Ethan Hinderman just missed all-conference laurels with a 22nd place finish in a time of 25:56.0.
Grant Magnuson was 36th (26:22.2),
Cale Bishop was 37th (26:23.2),
Max Fore was 38th (26:25.7),
Mitchell Popp was 40th (26:30.6),
Trevor Locke was 42nd (26:33.7),
Nels Trandahl was 49th (26:50,8),
Cade Hanson was 50th (26:48.3),
Matt Thomas was 52nd (27:02.6), and
Christian Manthey was 68th (27:30.2).
Hanson was selected to the all-sportsmanship team. UW-La Crosse won the team title.
The Blue Devils will be at Luther College, Friday, Nov. 5. Stout return to Whitetail Golf Club Saturday, Nov. 13 when they compete in the NCAA North Regional.
