UW-Stout/UW-River Falls Dual / Alumni Meet results MENOMONIE (January 16, 2016) - The Blue Devil men came out on top of UW-River Falls with a 44-36 win. Sophomore
Christian Lucchesi stole the show with an impressive performance on the pole vault. He smoked the competition with a height of 16-1.75.

The 4x400 relay team made up of
Ryan Bjornstal,
Kevin Salveson,
Austin Johnson and
Walker Olson worked together to capture the gold with a time of 3:34.50. Senior athlete, Salveson was also in the lead for the preliminaries of the 60 hurdles, but barely got pushed into second place after posting a time of 8.69.

Two freshmen made their mark in the mile run. Joe Van Grinsven placed second (4:24.40) and Brandon Brooks took the third place spot (4:25.60.

The men will use this victory as momentum for emerging into the next competition. They are expecting to build their confidence as the season progresses. The Blue Devils will be hosting the UW-Stout Open on Saturday, January 23 at 12 p.m.
