Stout sweeps top six places on uneven bar

UW-Stout 178.50, Gustavus Adolphus 173.40

ST. PETER, Minn. (February 17, 2011) - Led by Jenna Lensing (So, Little Canada, Minn), UW-Stout swept the top six places on the uneven bars in a 178.50-173.40 win at Gustavus Adolphus, Thursday.

Lensing won the uneven bars with a 9.225. Brittany DeZiel (Fr, Rogers, Minn) was second (9.00), Heather Harmeyer (Jr, Milwaukee) was third (8.80), Liz Peters (Fr, LaGrange, Ill) was fourth (8.55), Kim Gulik (So, Elk Grove Village, Ill) was fifth (8.50) and Genna Boeckmann (So, St. Cloud, Minn) was sixth (8.475).

Lensing and DeZiel also finished first and second, respectively, in the all-around. Lensing tallied a 35.750 and DeZiel a 35.70.

Naomi DeLara (Sr, Kahului, Hawaii) was first on the vault (9.425) and was second on the balance beam (9.25).

Stout will be at Winona State University, Monday, Feb. 21, then will be at Boise State University, Friday, Feb. 25.
