Hi Blue Devils Softball Fans!
My name is Maggie Wozniak, and I am a junior transfer from St. Cloud Technical Community College. I am so excited to be a part of the Blue Devil family and to share a little bit about myself, along with what has been happening during these first few weeks as a team!
I earned a degree from SCTCC in Mechanical Design Engineering, and now I am working toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Coming in as a junior transfer came with its own set of unknowns and stressors, but the coaching staff and all of my teammates (shout out especially to my roommates!) have been so awesome and welcoming. I am so thankful I found the Blue Devil family and get to call it home for these next two years!
As pumpkin spice season kicks in and classes pick up speed, our team has also been busy getting to know each other on a deeper level off the field. We have had a few captains' meetings, captains' practices, Culver's runs, and countless laughs! In the upcoming weeks, we also have some fun activities planned as a team, including the challenge course, Mario Kart tournaments, and so much more.
I know this team and this year are going to be special, and I can't wait to see how we compete this spring. We are a very competitive group with a deep talent pool, and we are definitely going to be a team you want to watch!
While we have been busy building relationships as a team, we have also been working hard in the classroom. Here is my teammate Liv to talk a little bit about that!

My name is
Olivia Ott, and I am a redshirt junior pitcher who transferred here last year from the University of Sioux Falls. I am a Construction Management student, minoring in Business and Safety Management.
So far this week in the classroom, I have learned a lot about soils, reading geotechnical reports, and how OSHA safety measures are in place to make sure workers are able to make it home to their families. One thing I love about Stout is being able to learn with our hands, which is super helpful for me as a Construction Management student!!
