MADISON - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced its softball awards for the 2026 season, with UW-Stout's
Elly Holden,
Sarah Wilkins and
Payton Dolecki earning All-WIAC recognition.
Elly Holden, a junior outfielder from Winnipeg, Manitoba, was named All-WIAC after putting together one of the top offensive seasons in the conference. Holden hit .389 with a .673 slugging percentage and a .458 on-base percentage. She totaled 44 hits, including eight doubles, three triples and six home runs, while driving in 43 runs and scoring 23 times. Holden also went a perfect 11-for-11 on stolen base attempts. She finished second in the WIAC in both slugging percentage and RBI, ranking 73rd nationally in RBI, and placed fourth in the conference in total bases.
Sarah Wilkins, a junior pitcher/designated player from Red Deer, Alberta, also earned All-WIAC honors following a standout season both in the circle and at the plate. Wilkins pitched 123.0 innings with 153 strikeouts, a 2.16 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP. Nationally, she ranked 13th in strikeouts and 15th in strikeouts per seven innings, while leading the WIAC in innings pitched and ranking 87th nationally in the category. Wilkins was also selected WIAC Pitcher of the Week twice during the season.
Offensively, Wilkins hit .303 with a .538 slugging percentage and tied for second in the WIAC with eight home runs, ranking 67th nationally.
Payton Dolecki, a senior center fielder from Schaumburg, Ill., received All-WIAC Honorable Mention recognition. Dolecki batted .350 with a .468 slugging percentage, collecting 45 hits, 33 runs scored and 28 RBI. She added six doubles and four triples while going 14-for-15 on stolen base attempts. Dolecki led the WIAC in triples and was flawless defensively, posting a perfect fielding percentage along with 10 outfield assists.
Sammy Noreen, a senior from Northfield, Minn., was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
